Black Friday 2026 is Friday 27 November, though in reality it's no longer just a day, and many retailers will pump out deals in the weeks prior – with some Black Friday deals already on. Below are our 2026 predictions, and we'll continue to have analysis of this year's deals as they launch, helping you sort bargains from bull.
Don't get caught up in the hype. Ask yourself, do I need it? Can I afford it? If the answer's no to either, DON’T buy it. Remember, it's not a saving if you weren't going to buy it anyway.

Black Friday deals on now
Some cheapest prices, but many deals are matched elsewhere
Online retailer AO.com* has discounted hundreds of items for its Black Friday sale. Like in previous years, it launched offers early – beginning on Wednesday 28 October, and it'll last until Tuesday 1 December.
How good is the sale? When we checked, over 750 items were included. We found some products cheapest at AO.com, though often only marginally, while many others were price-matched elsewhere – so compare prices before buying.
AO.com also has 'member prices', which can be cheaper than its Black Friday prices. Membership costs £39.99 a year, so don't sign up for one deal unless the member saving outweighs the fee, and you've checked it's still cheapest elsewhere.
Below are some (non-member) deals we spotted on Tuesday 3 November:
Cheapest at AO.com:
-
Ninja Foodi Max DualZone AF400UK air fryer* - £159 (RRP £230). Next cheapest, £159.99 at Tesco
-
De'Longhi Magnifica Plus ECAM320.60.B coffee machine* - £499 (RRP £699). Next cheapest, £499.99 at Peter Tyson
Price-matched elsewhere:
-
Vax Platinum Smartwash CDCW-SWXS carpet cleaner* - £169 (RRP £299). Price-matched at Very
-
Dyson Supersonic R Straight+Wavy hair dryer* - £349 (RRP £449). Price-matched at Currys and John Lewis
How big are the discounts? AO.com isn't advertising its sale as 'up to' a certain percentage off, but we checked a sample ourselves:
-
Minimum discount we spotted: 7%
-
Maximum discount we spotted: 63%
-
Typical discount based on 50 random items: 27%
Will more deals be added? We think so. Based on previous years, we'd expect the current selection to grow as Black Friday (27 November) approaches.
AO.com 'Price Match Guarantee': Its extended price-match guarantee covers purchases made from 12 October to 11 December, giving you until 23 December to claim if you spot the item cheaper at AO.com or elsewhere. From 12 December, its standard guarantee applies instead, giving you seven days from delivery to claim.
Important: Don’t allow yourself to be taken in by the hype around Black Friday and be sucked into buying something you don’t need or can’t afford. Always do your own price comparisons to ensure you’re getting the best deal – don’t just take a retailer’s word for it.
See Black Friday 2026 for all our analysis. Check Deals & Vouchers for more of the latest offers.
Strong prices so far, with many more deals likely to come
As we predicted, Argos started its Black Friday sale on Friday 30 October, with over 1,800 items included.
How good is the sale? So far, Argos looks competitively priced. It's one of the first major retailers to launch its Black Friday sale though, so the real test will come as more retailers launch their offers.
Some deals we found on Friday 30 October include:
Cheapest at Argos:
-
Black + Decker corded mouse sander with 10 accessories - £18 (was £28). Next cheapest, £22 at B&Q
-
Dolce Gusto Mini Me by De'Longhi EDG155.BG pod machine - £35. Next cheapest, £39 at Asda
-
Shark IY143HUK cordless stick vacuum - £150 (was £229.99). Next cheapest, £229.99 at Shark
-
Lego Star Wars Millennium Falcon Collector Series set 75192 - £575 (was £735). Next cheapest, £719.99 at Smyths
Price-matched elsewhere:
-
Philips Series 5000 Pro Flex Head electric shaver - £59.99 (was £80). Price-matched at Boots
Cheaper elsewhere:
-
Energizer Max Alkaline AA batteries, 20-pack - £9.90. Cheaper for £7.49 at Robert Dyas
Will more deals be added? We think so. Last year's sale launched with just over 2,000 discounted products and grew to around 10,000 by 25 November, so we'd expect this year's current 1,800+ selection to grow significantly too.
Argos 'Price Guarantee': If you purchase an item marked with the guarantee, Argos says it will not go lower in price before Friday 25 December. If it does, it'll give you a voucher for the difference. This could take some of the gamble out of buying early, though it only protects you against a later price drop at Argos, not another retailer becoming cheaper.
Important: Don’t allow yourself to be taken in by the hype around Black Friday and be sucked into buying something you don’t need or can’t afford. Always do your own price comparisons to ensure you're getting the best deal – don’t just take a retailer’s word for it.

Not the biggest range but a strong start, with many items cheapest
As predicted, discount retailer B&M launched its Black Friday sale on Thursday 29 October offering 'up to 50% off' while stocks last.
How good is this sale? When we checked, 64 items were included. We found some genuinely competitive prices, with several items already cheaper at B&M before the Black Friday discounts were applied. Our spot checks found a number of products cheapest at B&M, though it's still worth comparing prices elsewhere before buying.
Below are some deals we spotted on Tuesday 3 November:
Cheapest at B&M
-
Polaroid Go Instant Camera Generation 2 in white - £49 (was £79). Next cheapest, £64.99 at Currys
-
Tefal Easy Fry dual air fryer - £75 (was £89). Next cheapest, £99 at Argos
-
Marvel Spiderman Race Track playset - £20 (was £24.99). Next cheapest, £35 at Argos
-
Salter Aspen stand mixer - £39 (was £59). Next cheapest, £64.99 at Amazon
What does 'up to 50% off' mean?
-
Minimum discount we spotted: 17%
-
Maximum discount we spotted: 57%
-
Typical discount based on 10 random items: 36%
Will more deals be added? Possibly. Last year, B&M had 70+ items in its Black Friday sale, compared with 64 when we checked this year, so it could add more products as Black Friday (Friday 27 November) approaches.
Competitive prices so far, though more retailers are yet to launch
Just as we predicted, B&Q launched its Black Friday sale on Friday 30 October and it'll last until Monday 30 November, with discounts on home appliances and DIY.
How good is the sale? So far, B&Q looks competitively priced. When we checked, offers included 'up to 40% off' kitchen cabinets and doors, and 'up to 15% off' bathroom and bedroom furniture, sheds, garden furniture, toys and more. Many of the products we checked were cheapest at B&Q, though it's still worth comparing elsewhere, particularly as more retailers launch their Black Friday sales.
Some deals we found on Tuesday 3 November:
Cheapest at B&Q:
-
Henry 9L numatic corded dry cylinder vacuum - £119 (was £159). Next cheapest, £138.99 at Screwfix
-
Bosch 80W 240V corded detail sander - £30 (was £40). Next cheapest, £32.99 at Screwfix
-
Kärcher K2 Home pressure washer - £89 (was £119). Next cheapest, £108.99 at Screwfix
Price-matched elsewhere:
-
Keter Store It Out Max 1200L polypropylene garden storage - £110 (was £160). Price-matched at Trade Point
-
TCP smart white portable dehumidifier, 12l/d - £98 (was £160). Price-matched at Trade Point
Will more deals be added? We're not sure. B&Q has other products that could be added to its Black Friday sale, so we'll update this if the range expands.
Strong for fragrance, with more products likely to come
As predicted, Boots* kicked off its Black Friday sale on Wednesday 28 October with 3,000+ discounted products.
How good is the sale? So far, we've found Boots particularly competitive for fragrance, while many of the skincare deals we've checked have been price-matched or beaten elsewhere.
If you spot something you want at a good price, we wouldn't necessarily wait for Boots to cut it further, as we're not expecting discounts on existing sale items to deepen. However, many rival retailers are yet to launch their Black Friday sales, so it's still worth comparing prices before buying.
Some deals we found on Tuesday 3 November include:
Cheapest at Boots:
-
YSL Black Opium Over Red Eau de Parfum with coffee & cherry, 50ml* - £50 (was £107). Next cheapest, £107 at Superdrug
-
Jean Paul Gaultier Ultra Male Eau de Toilette Intense, 125ml* - £52.50 (was £105). Next cheapest, £67.52 at Parfum Dreams
-
Marc Jacobs Daisy Love Eau de Toilette, 50ml* - £38.50 (was £77). Next cheapest, £61.60 at Debenhams
Cheaper elsewhere:
-
Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun Rice + Probiotics, 50ml* - £13.17 (was £15.50). Cheaper for £11.15 at Amazon
-
Garnier Vitamin C Brightening serum* - £9.33 (was £13.99). Cheaper at Superdrug for £9.31
Will more deals be added? We think so. Last year's sale launched with a similar number of discounted products, before a further 1,400 were added closer to Black Friday itself (Friday 27 November this year).
Important: Don’t allow yourself to be taken in by the hype around Black Friday and be sucked into buying something you don’t need or can’t afford. Always do your own price comparisons to ensure you're getting the best deal – don’t just take a retailer’s word for it.
See Black Friday 2026 for all our analysis. Check Deals & Vouchers for more of the latest offers.
Some strong prices, but compare as many deals are matched elsewhere
Currys* launched its 'up to 40% off' Black Friday sale online and in stores on Wednesday 28 October, with the promotion due to last until Tuesday 1 December.
How good is the sale? When we first checked, 1,500+ items were discounted, its sale has now grown to 2,300+ items, including TVs, vacuums, air fryers, laptops, headphones and LED face masks, from brands such as Russell Hobbs, Bosch, Kenwood, Dyson and Ninja.
We've found some genuinely competitive prices, though some big-brand deals are price-matched elsewhere, so it's still worth comparing before buying.
Here are a few deals we spotted on Tuesday 3 November:
Cheapest at Currys:
-
Dyson V15 Detect Absolute cordless vacuum in yellow & nickel* - £479 (was £649). Next cheapest, £479.99 at Argos and Dyson
-
Karcher SE 2 Spot Care cylinder carpet cleaner* - £79.99 (was £99.99). Next cheapest, £90 at Argos
-
Nutribullet Magic Bullet Deluxe blender* - £29.99 (was £49.99). Next cheapest, £39.99 at Amazon
Price-matched elsewhere:
-
Ninja 6-in-1 DualZone XL DZ901UK 9.5L air fryer* - £159.99 (was £239.99). Price-matched at Ninja
What does 'up to 40% off' mean?
-
Minimum discount we spotted: 6%
-
Maximum discount we spotted: 61%
-
Typical discount based on 10 random items: 24%
Will more deals be added? Very likely. Last year, Currys' sale grew from 2,900+ products when we first checked to over 6,000 as Black Friday approached. So we'd expect this year's current selection to grow significantly too.
Black Friday 'Price Guarantee': If you buy a product marked as a Black Friday deal at Currys between 28 October and 24 November, and the Currys price drops by 1 December, you can claim back the difference. You'll need to register your purchase by 27 November to qualify. See Price Guarantee terms*.
Up to two months' free Apple Music with selected tech purchases
New Apple Music subscribers can get two months free with selected tech purchases* until Saturday 21 November. Previous subscribers who don't currently have a subscription can get one month free, though you won't be eligible if you've previously claimed this Currys freebie. See full T&Cs.
It's not as strong as previous years – Currys offered three months of Apple Music in 2025, four months of Apple TV in 2024 and six months in 2023.
Some strong discounts, with more deals likely to be added
As predicted, Decathlon* launched its Black Friday sale for members (free to join) on Monday 26 October before opening it up for everyone else on Monday 2 November.
How good is the sale? Decathlon has significantly expanded its Black Friday sale, from just 52 products during early access to 700+ items now it's open to everyone. The sale includes sportswear and equipment from big brands such as Garmin and Columbia, and we've spotted some competitive prices, including some items with discounts stronger than 50%. Discounts are applied at checkout.
Here are some deals we spotted on Monday 2 November:
Cheapest at Decathlon:
-
Giordana Womens AV 100 jacket* - £35.99 (was £149.99). Next cheapest, £39.99 at Giordana
-
Columbia Buck Butte II men’s blue padded jacket* - £69.99 (was £129.99). Next cheapest, £81.99 at Amazon
-
Garmin Cardio Multisport Forerunner 965 GPS smartwatch* - £399.99 (was £499.99). Next cheapest, £459.99 at Amazon
-
Kelty Grand Mesa four-person tent* - £140 (was £265). Next cheapest, £180 at Tesco
Price-matched elsewhere:

What does 'up to 50% off' mean?
-
Minimum discount we spotted: 2%
-
Maximum discount we spotted: 80%
-
Typical discount based on 10 random items: 39%
Will more deals be added? We expect more items to be added as the sale progresses, as there were 1,000+ included in 2025.
Some cheapest prices, but we'd wait for likely extra discounts
As we predicted, La Redoute* has launched its 'up to 50% off everything' Black Friday sale. Discounts vary by department, including 'up to 50% off' coats and 'up to 35% off' sofas and armchairs.
How good is the sale? It's a mixed bag. We've found some branded products cheapest at La Redoute, but often only marginally, while some other products are significantly cheaper elsewhere. We've also spotted examples where La Redoute's 'was' price is higher than the RRP listed by other retailers, so don't judge the deal on the advertised saving alone.
Some deals we found on Tuesday 3 November include:
Cheapest at La Redoute:
-
Catherine Lansfield Inga Leaf eyelet curtains* - £39.90, were £42. Next cheapest, £40.50 at Asda
-
Tamaris heeled ankle boots* - £48, were £60. Next cheapest, £49 at Zalando
Cheaper elsewhere:
-
Adidas graphic high-neck zip-up sweatshirt* - £60.20, was £86. Cheaper for £60 at Adidas
-
Superdry short padded jacket with faux fur hood* - £139.90, was £199. Cheaper for £87.50 at Freemans
Is it worth waiting? We think so. We expect La Redoute to add further offers as Black Friday (27 November) approaches, including potentially limited-time extra discounts – last year we spotted an extra 15% off code.
An okay start but likely worth waiting for bigger discounts and more products
Matalan has launched its Black Friday sale online and in stores, with 20% off selected coats, knitwear, boots, kidswear and homeware.
How good is the sale and is it worth waiting? It's okay for now, but we think it could be worth waiting. Based on previous sales, we're expecting stronger discounts nearer Black Friday (27 November), potentially reaching 25% off, as well as more products being added.
Matalan often runs app-only offers, so if you shop at it regularly, it's worth checking its free app for any additional deals.
Some deals we found on Tuesday 3 November include:
-
Girls black sparkle snug boots - £8, were £10
-
Pink argyle fleece double duvet set - £18.40, was £23
-
Charcoal cosy quarter zip jumper - £19.20, was £24
-
Burgundy longline belted wrap coat - £36, was £45
Important: Don’t allow yourself to be taken in by the hype around Black Friday and be sucked into buying something you don’t need or can’t afford. Always do your own price comparisons to ensure you're getting the best deal – don’t just take a retailer’s word for it.

Worth a look now, but it could pay to wait
Smyths kicked off its Black Friday sale earlier than we predicted, on Tuesday 3 November.
How good is the sale? When we checked, 150+ products were included from brands such as Disney, Nintendo and Hot Wheels, with some discounts reaching 50%. We've already spotted some good prices, though we haven't checked the full range against other retailers, so don't assume everything's a bargain.
Here are a few deals we spotted on Tuesday 3 November:
Cheapest at Smyths:
-
Nintendo Super Mario holiday Advent calendar - £19.99, was £30. Next cheapest, £40 at Argos
-
Monopoly F1 Edition - £34.99, was £39.99. Next cheapest, £40 at Argos
Price-matched elsewhere:
-
Hot Wheels City Ultimate T-Rex Garage playset - £69.99, was £89.99. Price-matched at Very
-
VTech Kitty Life: Secret Life of Kitty games console - £31.99, was £39.99. Price-matched at Very
How big are the discounts? Smyths isn't advertising an 'up to' percentage discount, but we've looked at a sample of its deals:
-
Minimum discount we spotted: 4%
-
Maximum discount we spotted: 50%
-
Typical discount based on 10 random items: 19%
Is it worth waiting? It could be. For the last two years, Smyths offered £5 off when you spent between £50 and £99.99, or £10 off when you spent £100 or more in stores. It previously ran other offers during Black Friday week, such as £5 off every £50 spent on Barbie products, buy one get one half-price on all board games, and 3for2 on Crayola products. If you're not worried about something selling out, holding off could unlock an extra saving.
Promising for fragrance, but the full sale is still to come
Superdrug has kicked off its Black Friday sale with early fragrance and electrical beauty offers. It says its full Black Friday sale starts on Wednesday 4 November, so check back then for our full sale analysis.
How good is the sale? It's early days, but we've spotted some competitive fragrance prices. While some of the reductions from Superdrug's previous prices look hefty, the cheapest alternative elsewhere can be much closer, so make sure you compare before buying. Superdrug is definitely one to watch if you're after fragrance this Black Friday.
Some deals we found on Friday 30 October include:
Cheapest at Superdrug:
-
Hugo Man eau de toilette, 200ml - £33 (was £86). Next cheapest, £39.95 at Justmylook
-
Marc Jacobs Daisy Ever So Fresh eau de parfum, 75ml - £42 (was £97). Next cheapest, £43.99 at Justmylook
Price-matched elsewhere:
-
Remington Almond Allure hair straightener - £19.99 (was £69.99). Price-matched at Currys
Cheaper elsewhere:
-
Rabanne Pure XS For Her eau de parfum, 50ml - £49 (was £86). Cheaper for £29.95 at TJ Hughes
Important: Don’t allow yourself to be taken in by the hype around Black Friday and be sucked into buying something you don’t need or can’t afford. Always do your own price comparisons to ensure you're getting the best deal – don’t just take a retailer’s word for it.

Good if you're stocking up on books
Get more bang for your book... The Works launched its Black Friday sale in stores (find your nearest) on Monday 2 November.
It's boosted its popular ongoing mix & match book deals as part of its Black Friday promotion. You can get 12 kids' picture books for £10 (it's normally 10 for this price), or four adult fiction or non-fiction books for £7.50 (it's usually three for this price). Both offers run until Monday 30 November.
These deals are only on selected books, and those included in the offer will be clearly marked.
How good is the sale? These boosted multibuys offer a decent saving if you're buying several books. Kids' picture books are normally £2 each, but 12 for £10 works out at about 83p each. Adult fiction and non-fiction books are typically £3 each, while four for £7.50 works out at about £1.88 each.
Here are some books we spotted on Monday 2 November:
-
The It Girl by Ruth Ware - £3 (RRP £9.99). Next cheapest, £3.89 at Awesome books
-
The Fake Out by Stephanie Archer - £3 (RRP £9.99). Next cheapest, £3.99 at Amazon
-
A Stranger in the Family by Jane Casey - £3 (RRP £9.99). Next cheapest, £3.69 at Awesome Books
-
The Snowman and the Snowdog by Raymond Briggs - £2 (RRP £6.99). Next cheapest, £2.81 at Temu
-
Kipper by Mick Inkpen - £2 (RRP £6.99)
Will more deals be added? Given the range of products sold at The Works, we think more Black Friday offers could be added over the coming weeks, so we'll update this if that happens.
Important: Don’t allow yourself to be taken in by the hype around Black Friday and be sucked into buying something you don’t need or can’t afford. Always do your own price comparisons to ensure you’re getting the best deal – don’t just take a retailer’s word for it.

Underwhelming so far. We'd wait to see what comes next
On Monday 2 November, TK Maxx kicked off its Black Friday sale. So far, it appears to be launching weekly offers focused on selected brands and products, but we're struggling to see what makes these Black Friday deals.
How good is the sale? Honestly, we're not impressed. Many of the items we've seen aren't reduced at all. While other items are discounted, that's business as usual at TK Maxx, and we haven't seen an obvious extra Black Friday saving so far.
Is it worth waiting? We think so. We'd hold fire unless you spot something you already wanted at a price you're happy with. We'll update here if stronger or more clearly defined Black Friday offers appear.
Important: Don’t allow yourself to be taken in by the hype around Black Friday and be sucked into buying something you don’t need or can’t afford. Always do your own price comparisons to ensure you’re getting the best deal – don’t just take a retailer’s word for it.

Cheaper elsewhere in our checks, but freebies could swing it
Vax launched its online Black Friday sale on Wednesday 28 October. We're not sure how long it'll run, but we'll update this when we know more.
How good is the sale? When we checked, 50 items were discounted, including vacuums, carpet cleaners and spot cleaners. Nearly every item we checked was either price-matched or cheaper elsewhere, so make sure you compare prices before buying.
Vax does include 'free' extras with selected purchases, such as a solution kit or a steamer it says is worth £49.99. These could make buying direct from Vax better value, but only if it's something you'll actually use.
Cheapest at Vax:
-
Vax MaxClean Stainshot Pet carpet cleaner - £249.99 (was £349.99). Next cheapest, for £359.99 at Argos
Cheaper elsewhere:
-
Vax SpotWash Mini spot cleaner - £69.99 (was £89.99). Cheaper at Amazon for £69
-
Vax Rapid Power Revive carpet cleaner - £119.99 (was £199.99). Cheaper at AO.com* for £119
-
Vax Platinum SmartWash carpet cleaner - £179.99 (was £299.99). Cheaper at AO.com* for £169
-
Vax Steam Fresh Combi Classic steam cleaner - £69.99 (was £89.99). Cheaper at AO.com* for £69
-
Vax HandVac Pro cordless handheld vacuum - £79.99 (was £129.99). Cheaper at AO.com* for £79
How big are the discounts? Vax isn't advertising an 'up to' percentage discount, instead saying you can 'save over £200' in its Black Friday sale. We checked a sample ourselves:
-
Minimum discount we spotted: 11%
-
Maximum discount we spotted: 50%
-
Typical discount based on 10 random items: 36%
Will more deals be added? We're not sure. Vax has other products that could be added to the sale, so we'll update this if the range expands.
Important: Don’t allow yourself to be taken in by the hype around Black Friday and be sucked into buying something you don’t need or can’t afford. Always do your own price comparisons to ensure you’re getting the best deal – don’t just take a retailer’s word for it.

Black Friday travel deals
A decent saving, but compare the total holiday price
Tour operator Easyjet Holidays launched its Black Friday sale on Thursday 29 October with offers running until 11pm on Tuesday 1 December.
It's offering up to £400 off a package holiday when using the code BLKFRIDAY at checkout. You can save:
-
£400 on bookings of £4,000 or more
-
£200 on bookings of £2,000 or more
-
£100 on bookings of £800 or more
-
£50 when spending £500 or more
The discount is valid on holidays booked before 11pm on Tuesday 1 December, for travel between now and 31 October 2028.
How good is the sale? When we checked, Easyjet's Black Friday offer covered 5,000 package holidays, but not flight-only bookings. The biggest £400 saving requires a £4,000+ spend, so don't be swayed by the headline figure alone.
Below are some deals we spotted on Thursday 29 October:
-
Six nights at El Cid in Costa Dorada, Spain, in April, from £293 per person
-
Six nights at Sun Apartments Marmaris in Dalaman, Turkey, in April from £298 per person
-
Six nights at Valeria Dar Atlas Resort in Marrakech, Morocco, in April, from £613 per person
-
Six nights at Iberostar Waves Founty Beach in Agadir, Morocco, in April, from £699 per person
-
Six nights at KN Matas Blancas in Fuerteventura, Spain, in April, from £634 per person
When we checked prices again on Tuesday 3 November, we noticed prices had increased slightly for all but one of the holidays. This is because flights and holidays are dynamically priced based on availability, which means discounts on fares and packages can fluctuate, so if there's a holiday you're after, use tools such as Kayak*, Skyscanner*, Momondo* and Google Flights to track prices. See our Cheap flights and Cheap package holidays guides for full help.
Is it worth waiting? Possibly, though there's no guarantee you'll pay less. In previous years, Easyjet has launched its 'Big Orange Sale' a few days before Christmas. In 2025, this included up to £500 off holidays costing £5,000+, as well as discounted flights.
Easyjet 'Price Guarantee': If you book a package holiday and find the same holiday cheaper with another holiday company, Easyjet says it'll refund the difference plus an additional £5 per person. You'll need to submit a claim within 24 hours of booking.
Other ways to save: For a limited time, Easyjet is also offering £66.50 off holidays including a child aged under two with the code FIRSTPASSPORT. It can't be combined with the Black Friday code, so check which gives you the bigger saving.
You can also use Tesco Clubcard rewards towards Easyjet Holidays, so factor this in when comparing your overall cost.
Important: Don’t allow yourself to be taken in by the hype around Black Friday and be sucked into buying something you don’t need or can’t afford. Always do your own price comparisons to ensure you’re getting the best deal.
Some decent fares, eg, £25 one-way. Waiting doesn't guarantee cheaper prices
Jet2 launched its Black Friday sale on Thursday 29 October. It's giving up to 20% off all flights, with the discount automatically applied, as well as £100 off per person on Jet2holidays.
Both offers are valid on flights or holidays booked before 11.59pm on Wednesday 2 December, for travel between now and 31 October 2028.
How good is the sale? This offer is fairly broad, with up to 20% off all flights. We spotted some decent fares, including £25 one-way flights to Faro and Chambéry, and a £50 return to Turin. However, flight prices are dynamic and can change with demand, so compare fares elsewhere before booking.
Below are some flight deals we spotted on Tuesday 3 November:
-
London Stansted to Faro, Portugal, one-way, in January from £25. Reduced from £31
-
London Luton to Fuerteventura, one-way, in November from £27. Reduced from £33
-
London Stansted to Chambéry, France, one-way, in January from £25. Reduced from £31
-
Manchester to Turin, Italy, one-way, in January from £25. Reduced from £31
-
Glasgow to Rome, Italy, return, in January from £74. Reduced from £91
What does 'up to 20% off' mean?
-
Minimum discount we spotted: 18%
-
Maximum discount we spotted: 26%
-
Typical discount based on 10 random flights: 19%
£100 off Jet2holidays: The discount should be applied automatically, but if it isn't, use the code BF2026 at checkout.
Here are some package holiday deals we spotted:
-
Seven nights at Anseli Hotel in Rhodes, in June from £426 per person
-
Seven nights at Azuline S'Anfora & Fleming Hotel in Ibiza, in June from £448 per person
-
Seven nights at Oula Hotel & Apartments in Corfu, in June, from £460 per person
Is it worth waiting? Possibly, though there's no guarantee prices will be cheaper. After its Black Friday sale, Jet2 has previously launched another sale shortly before Christmas, while in January, it boosted its package holiday discount. However, its percentage discount on flights is likely to remain similar.
Flights and holidays are dynamically priced based on availability, which means discounts on fares and packages can fluctuate, so if there's a holiday you're after, use tools such as Kayak*, Skyscanner*, Momondo* and Google Flights to track prices. Waiting may mean more choice, but not necessarily a lower price
Travel company MSC Cruises launched its Black Friday sale on Friday 30 October, one week earlier than we predicted.
It's offering 'up to 30% off' selected sailings booked by Tuesday 8 December, for travel between Sunday 1 November and 31 May 2027.
How good is this sale? When we checked, MSC Cruises' Black Friday offer covered 500+ sailings. This year's headline discount of up to 30% off is lower than the up to 50% off advertised last year, though last year's biggest saving required a higher spend.
In our spot checks, the typical saving this year is 22% off. It's best to compare the total price of the sailing you want rather than focusing solely on the advertised percentage.
Below are some sailings we spotted on Tuesday 3 November:
-
Seven-night Mediterranean cruise onboard MSC Euribia in December from £409 per person. Reduced from £557
-
Seven-night Mediterranean cruise onboard MSC Fantasia in April from £589
-
Seven-night South American cruise onboard MSC Musica in January from £649 per person. Reduced from £924
-
Seven-night Barbados and southern Caribbean cruise onboard MSC Opera in November 2026 from £619 per person. Reduced from £775
What does 'up to 30% off' mean?
-
Minimum discount we spotted: 19%
-
Maximum discount we spotted: 33%
-
Typical discount based on 10 random sailings: 22%
Is it worth waiting? Possibly, though there's no guarantee you'll pay less. Like flights and package holidays, cruise prices can change depending on availability.
However, waiting could give you more choice. MSC Cruises told us it'll add a wider range of dates during November, including summer 2027 and winter 2027/28 sailings. So if you're looking to travel after 31 May 2027, it could be worth holding off to see what's added.
Extra 5% off for Voyagers Club members: While it’s free to become a member, it's only open to people who’ve been on an MSC cruise since 2006, or anyone who has a confirmed booking.
Important: Don’t allow yourself to be taken in by the hype around Black Friday and be sucked into buying something you don’t need or can’t afford. Always do your own price comparisons to ensure you’re getting the best deal.

Black Friday 2026 predictions
'Up to 50% off' 1,000s of items, boosting to 'up to 60% off'
🗓️ Predicted from Tuesday 17 November (up to 50% off), then from Friday 27 November for up to 60% off, till Monday 30 November
If the last two years are anything to go by, we'll initially see up to 50% off 1,000s of items for members of Adidas* adiClub (its free loyalty scheme). On Black Friday itself, the sale is likely to open up to all, and discounts could increase to as much as 60% off. Joining adiClub gives you first pick of sale stock, but if you're willing to risk items selling out, waiting until Black Friday could mean bigger discounts.
In 2025, the typical discount we spotted was 36% off and the maximum was 60% off.
40+ middle aisle 'Specialbuys'
🗓️ Predicted from Sunday 15 November till Monday 30 November
Aldi has taken part in Black Friday for the past two years, so we're expecting it to return in 2026. Last year's range grew significantly, with 40 products compared with just seven the year before.
Expect a selection of 'Specialbuys' across home, kitchen, beauty and more. Last year's examples included £10 cast iron cookware, a £50 hair styler, a £60 air fryer and a £90 walking pad.
We're not convinced there's much difference between this and Aldi's usual Specialbuys, so don't assume something's a bargain just because it's labelled Black Friday. Compare prices with similar products elsewhere before buying.
12 days of deals on Ninja, Lego, Sonos & 1,000s more
🗓️ Predicted from Thursday 19 November till Monday 30 November
Expect discounts on 1,000s of items across home, electronics, beauty and fashion. Last year, we spotted the Ninja Creami, Lego Lord of the Rings, Sonos Ace headphones and a Philips coffee machine at their lowest-ever Amazon prices.
Overall, it's usually a mixed bag. Some deals may match or beat prices from its October Prime sale, particularly on Amazon's own devices such as Echo, Ring and Blink. Big retailers including Argos, Currys and John Lewis often price-match, so check if they're throwing in any extras before buying.
It's also likely we'll see an extra 20% off Amazon Resale* (cheap customer returns).
'Free' gift card with purchase of an iPhone, MacBook & more
🗓️ Predicted from Friday 27 November till Monday 30 November
Apple is very likely to offer a gift card with selected product purchases again. While the gift card value has fluctuated, we expect it'll be closer to last year's max of £200. As an example, last year AirPods 4 got you a £20 gift card, iPad Air an £80 card, and a MacBook Pro got the top value card. This deal is particularly useful if you plan to make another Apple purchase, though you may find a bigger upfront saving elsewhere.
Here are the cheapest prices we've seen for these popular Apple products so far this year:
AirPods 4 £80 | AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancelling £125 | AirPods Pro 3 £170 | Watch Series 11 £219 | MacBook Air M5 £990 | iPhone 16 £493
Discounts on electricals and beauty
🗓️ Predicted from Wednesday 11 November till Thursday 3 December
Last year, Asda discounted hundreds of items for Black Friday, both in-store and online, including a £31 Tefal five-piece pan set (was £65), a £20 Remington hair dryer (was £50) and a £39 nine-litre air fryer (was £79). It also offered a £10 off £50+ discount code.
There were some cracking prices, but don't assume every Asda Black Friday deal is a winner. We found last year's sale was a mixed bag, so compare prices elsewhere before buying.
Daily deals followed by 'up to 70% off' everything on Black Friday
🗓️ Predicted from Tuesday 17 November till Monday 30 November
In the run up to Black Friday weekend, you'll likely see a few short-lived offers between 10% and 30% off before Asos launches its main sale over Black Friday weekend where discounts of 'up to 70% off' are likely. Last year, on Cyber Monday it dropped its sale to 'up to 25% off' 1,000s of styles, so it's probably best to buy early. The Asos sale can be a great way to get a discount on a branded item you can't find cheaper elsewhere.
In 2025, the typical discount we spotted was 44% off and the maximum was 78% off.
'Up to 75% off' 100,000s of items, plus extra discount codes
🗓️ Predicted from Wednesday 18 November till Monday 30 November
Last year, Debenhams launched its 'up to 75% off' Black Friday sale with a whopping 730,000 items included. It then added extra discount codes on Black Friday itself, so we reckon it could be worth checking back then before buying.
A warning though... don't take the advertised savings at face value. Last year, we spotted examples where products were cheaper elsewhere, as well as inflated RRPs from some third-party sellers, which can make discounts look bigger than they really are. Make sure you compare both prices and RRPs elsewhere before buying.
30% off 1,000+ full-price items
🗓️ Predicted from Monday 23 November (if signed up to its emails) or from Wednesday 25 November for all, till Monday 30 November
Disney Store tends to give early access to its Black Friday offer to its email subscribers (free to sign up) for about two days.
Expect 30% off selected items, including action figures, costumes, soft toys and more. Last year, over 1,000 products were included. The discount actually dropped to 25% off on Cyber Monday, so you're likely better off buying earlier in the sale rather than holding out for a bigger saving.
Many items are exclusive to Disney Store, but for those available elsewhere, it's worth comparing prices. Last year, we spotted some cheaper at other retailers, such as Amazon.
'Up to 50% off', including branded items
🗓️ Predicted from Monday 9 November till Monday 30 November
Expect up to 50% off selected items, though last year we did spot some products up to 75% off. In 2025, 1,800+ products were in the sale, including brands such as Tower, KitchenAid and Silentnight. If you're shopping for homeware or small appliances, it's worth checking early, as the range is usually much broader than many rival retailers' Black Friday sales.
In 2025, the typical discount we spotted was 27% off and the maximum was 75% off.
Up to £200 off vacuums, hair appliances, fans & more
🗓️ Predicted from Wednesday 28 October till Monday 30 November
Update: This deal didn't start when we predicted. We'll update this page when it launches.
Expect up to £200 off selected vacuums, hair appliances, fans and more. Last year, we found some items were marginally cheaper elsewhere, so it's always worth comparing prices. Interestingly, some discounted items at the start of the sale went back to full price before Black Friday itself, including the Airwrap i.d. multi-styler & dryer with diffuser. By Black Friday, only 16 products remained in the sale.
20% off 1,000s of outlets, 40% off Dyson, 25% off Shark & Ninja
🗓️ Predicted from Friday 27 November till Monday 30 November
We're expecting an extra 20% off code, valid at selected eBay outlets when spending £10 or more. Last year, the code could be used at 4,600+ outlets, including Currys, Crampton & Moore and Debenhams. eBay also ran stronger retailer-specific offers, such as an extra 40% off the official Dyson outlet and 25% off the Shark and Ninja outlets.
Mix of deals, such as a £20 voucher when you spend £100
🗓️ Predicted from Monday 23 November till Monday 30 November
We're expecting a mix of discounts and spend-based promotions. Last year, we saw a £20 voucher when spending £100, 30% off selected controllers, and up to 50% off selected games. Some of its strongest deals were linked to the Frasers Plus credit product, so make sure you're comfortable with the costs and risks of buy now, pay later before signing up.
Discounts on selected devices, eg, Pixel phone
🗓️ Predicted from Thursday 12 November till Wednesday 2 December
Expect discounts on selected Google devices, including Pixel phones and smartwatches. It's unlikely to include the newest products, such as the Pixel 11 range, but last year we saw £200 off the Pixel 9 and £80 off the Pixel Watch 3, which were then Google's previous-generation flagship devices.
'Up to 50% off', and extra discount codes possible
🗓️ Predicted from Sunday 15 November till Monday 30 November
We're expecting Gymshark to launch its Black Friday sale with 'up to 50% off'. Last year, we saw it offer an extra 25% off code closer to Black Friday, which could be stacked on top of its sale. If there's something you're after and you're not worried about it going out of stock, then it could be worth waiting for an additional discount.
In 2025, the typical discount we spotted was 26% off and the maximum was 70% off.
20% off 1,000s of items, then up to 40% off (members only)
🗓️ Predicted from Monday 23 November till Tuesday 1 December
Last year, H&M offered its members (free to sign up) 20% off thousands of clothing and home items, with a minimum £30 spend. On Black Friday itself, this changed to up to 40% off selected items, again just for members, but without the minimum spend.
Then, on Cyber Monday, the advertised discount increased to up to 70% off selected items, ending at 8am the following day. So if you're willing to risk items selling out, it could pay to wait, though the products included may vary.
Various offers on bikes, tyres, dash cams & car seats
🗓️ Predicted from Thursday 5 November till Wednesday 2 December
Expect discounts on a range of motoring and cycling products, including bikes, tyres, dash cams and car seats. Last year there wasn't a sitewide sale, with offers varying by product. Deals included 50% off selected car cleaning products, up to 30% off selected electric bikes, and £100 off a front and rear dash cam bundle.
'Up to 50% off' or 3for2 on 1,000s of items
🗓️ Predicted from Monday 23 November till Monday 7 December
We're expecting Holland & Barrett to advertise an 'up to 50% off' Black Friday sale, like it did last year. We reckon it'll be online only again. Last year, over 3,900 items were included across health & wellness, beauty, food & drink and more, with about 1,700 of those on 3for2 rather than up to 50% off.
In 2025, the typical discount we spotted was 33% off and the maximum was 60% off.
‘Up to 90% off’ selected furniture & homeware for Ikea Family members
🗓️ Predicted from Monday 23 November till Monday 30 November
After sitting out Black Friday for three years, Ikea brought its sale back in 2025, with discounts on over 400 furniture and homeware items for Ikea Family members (free to sign up). It's too soon to say if it'll become a regular fixture, but if it does return, we'd expect a similar member-only offer.
Last year's sale advertised discounts of up to 90% off, and while we found a few items with hefty reductions, the typical discount we spotted was 23% off. Ikea had also run sales earlier in the year with discounts on a bigger range of items and a stronger typical discount, so don't assume Black Friday will be its best sale.
Deals on 100s of electricals, beauty, fragrance, home & more
🗓️ Predicted from Friday 30 October till Monday 30 November
Update: This deal didn't start when we predicted. We'll update this page if and when it launches.
We're likely to see varied discounts launching throughout the month, with deals on hundreds of products across electricals, beauty and fragrance. Last year, we spotted up to 20% off brands such as Yves Saint Laurent and Chanel.
Interestingly, some offers got weaker on Black Friday itself. For example, 'up to £300 off Samsung and LG TVs' became 'up to £200 off plus 10% off'. As most eligible TVs cost less than £1,000, it worked out worse for many shoppers.
John Lewis often includes an extended warranty for free on items such as TVs (five years) and electricals (two years), even when the price is the same at other retailers.
Deals on branded electricals & homeware
🗓️ Predicted from Sunday 22 November, while stock lasts
Last year, Lidl launched its Black Friday deals on the Sunday before Black Friday, with a selection of electricals and homeware from brands including Ninja, Daewoo, Silentnight and Emma.
If you spot something you want at a good price, it may be best not to wait. Last year, Lidl had removed its Black Friday banner from its website by Black Friday itself, suggesting much of the stock may already have gone.
We spotted some competitive prices last year, including a £60 Vax vacuum (next cheapest £89) and a £249 KitchenAid stand mixer (next cheapest £280). Lidl doesn't always give a previous selling price, so compare prices elsewhere before buying.
"Doesn't take part"... but has discounts on select departments/brands
🗓️ Predicted from Thursday 12 November till Monday 30 November
Despite telling us it doesn't take part in Black Friday, M&S routinely runs 'Unmissable Offers' across multiple departments. Last year, we saw 25% off beauty, up to 30% off selected brands, and a broader sale with up to 50% off, including brands such as Adidas, Sweaty Betty and Estée Lauder.
We found M&S was often among the cheapest retailers when these offers first launched, but once other retailers started their Black Friday sales, its deals were regularly beaten elsewhere.
‘Up to 50% off’ 1,000s of items
🗓️ Predicted from Wednesday 18 November till Monday 30 November
Last year, New Look offered up to 50% off online and in stores, with over 4,000 women's clothing items included online, plus a smaller selection of men's and kids' items.
If you're willing to wait, Cyber Monday could be the best time to buy. Last year, New Look added an extra 10% off its Black Friday sale with a code.
In 2025, the typical discount we spotted was 29% off and the maximum was 50% off.
'Up to 50% off' most items
🗓️ Predicted from Monday 16 November till Monday 30 November
Expect up to 50% off clothing, trainers and sportswear. Unlike the previous four years, Nike opened its Black Friday sale to non-members in 2025, offering discounts online and in stores. We'd like to think it won't revert to a members-only sale, but if you want to play it safe, Nike membership is free to join. Of course, many retailers sell Nike, so it's important to check deals elsewhere too.
In 2025, the typical discount we spotted was 33% off and the maximum was 50% off.
'Up to 30% off’ kitchen appliances
🗓️ Predicted from Wednesday 4 November till Monday 30 November
In 2025, Ninja offered 'up to 30% off' a selection of air fryers, BBQ grills and other appliances/cookware items. Many of the discounts we found last year were on limited edition colours, while other discounts only ran for a limited time and required a code. The price reductions we spotted were matched by other retailers when we checked prices.
If you don't mind a refurbished model, eBay often runs a Black Friday offer which includes the Ninja outlet*. Last year, we saw a 25% off code.
'Up to 50% off' sale
🗓️ Predicted from Wednesday 4 November till Monday 30 November
Pets at Home launched its Black Friday sale (or Black Furday as it calls it) on the first Wednesday in November last year, so it's likely to do the same this year. We're expecting up to 50% off 1,000+ selected items online and in stores. Last year, Pets at Home also added an extra 10% off code closer to Black Friday itself, so it could be worth holding out to see if this returns.
20% or 25% off
🗓️ Predicted from Friday 20 November till Monday 30 November
Tu will likely have a blanket discount of 20% or 25% off. It should cover brands too – examples last year include FatFace, French Connection and Wallis – so if you find these brands don't have a good discount on for Black Friday, it's worth checking Sainsbury's Tu.
Up to 30% off beauty & gifts for members
🗓️ Predicted from Wednesday 25 November till Monday 30 November
Until last year, Selfridges hadn't made a big deal about Black Friday for a few years, so we're unsure how strong it'll go on it this year. In 2025, Selfridges offered up to 30% off beauty and gifts for its Keyholder members (free to join). There were over 12,000 items included from brands such as Charlotte Tilbury, Diptyque and Mac. If the sale does return, we'd expect a similar member-focused offer.
‘Up to 60% off’ 1,000s of shoes & trainers
🗓️ Predicted from Thursday 19 November till Monday 30 November
Last year, Schuh launched an 'up to 60% off' Black Friday sale online and in stores, with over 3,000 items included. We spotted savings on big-name brands such as Puma, New Balance, Birkenstock and Nike. There were strong deals, with plenty examples being the cheapest around, but Schuh wasn't always cheapest, so it's worth comparing prices elsewhere before buying.
In 2025, the typical discount we spotted was 39% off and the maximum was 75% off.
'Up to 35% off' selected products at its official website
🗓️ Predicted from Wednesday 4 November till Wednesday 2 December
For the last two years, Shark email subscribers (free to sign up) have been given early access to its Black Friday sale via a secret link and unique code in late October/early November, with the sale opening to all a day later.
Last year it offered discounts on a selection of items (about 70) including vacuums, spot cleaners, and fans. It was advertised as 'up to 35% off' and we spotted discounts of 12% to 44% off, with a typical discount of 30% off. Shark often price-matches other retailers, so discounts may deepen throughout November if other retailers offer better prices.
Clubcard deals on tech & household appliances
🗓️ Predicted from Thursday 19 November till Monday 30 November
Last year, Tesco launched its Clubcard-only Black Friday offers on 20 November, with deals on selected tech and household appliances online and in larger stores. Products included an Oral-B electric toothbrush, Revlon hair dryer & volumiser, Wahl shaver, and a Tefal cookware set.
Don't assume the Clubcard price will be the cheapest though. The majority of online deals we checked were cheaper elsewhere, while Tesco's in-store offers looked stronger. The ranges differed too, so it could be worth checking what's available in your local larger store as well as online.
‘Up to 50% off’ toys & games, potentially boosting nearer Black Friday
🗓️ Predicted from Wednesday 11 November till Monday 30 November
Last year, The Entertainer launched its Black Friday sale in mid-November, with up to 50% off selected toys and games online and in stores. It also offered a buy two, get one free promotion across the majority of toys online, though Lego, Pop Mart and Tonies were excluded.
If you're not worried about something selling out, it could pay to wait. In previous years, The Entertainer has boosted its offers nearer Black Friday, including up to 70% off, while Cyber Monday has seen extra discounts when hitting certain spend thresholds (be careful not to overspend). The Entertainer won't always be cheapest, so compare prices elsewhere before buying.
1,000s of deals, eg, on indoor lighting & outdoor furniture
🗓️ Predicted from Thursday 12 November till Monday 30 November
While The Range launched its Black Friday sale at the end of October/start of November in previous years, it waited till mid-November last year, after running 'early bird' offers during the weeks before. We're predicting a similar approach this year.
Expect discounts on thousands of products, including indoor lighting, kitchen appliances and outdoor furniture. We spotted 15,000+ items in last year's sale, though our spot checks found many deals were price-matched or beaten by other retailers.
In 2025, the typical discount we spotted was 21% off and the maximum was 58% off.
Extra 30% off clearance clothes, shoes & accessories
🗓️ Predicted from Friday 20 November till Tuesday 1 December
Last year, second-hand retailer Thrift+ offered an extra 30% off clearance items when spending £15 or more. The sale included clothing, shoes, bags and accessories, with considerably more choice in the women's section. Before buying, compare prices with other second-hand marketplaces such as eBay and Vinted, and remember to factor in delivery costs.
Here are our quick tips for bagging the best Black Friday & Cyber Monday deals...
Compare prices
Check sites such as Google Shopping or PriceRunner to see prices across retailers.
Track price history
Use tools such as CamelCamelCamel (Amazon prices) and PriceSpy (multiple retailers) to see if the Black Friday 'deal' is genuinely cheaper than its price throughout the year, as retailers often advertise discounts against the non-recent Recommended Retail Price (RRP).
Be wary of sales on one-off items
These encourage impulse buying. Look for across-store discounts on a wide range of products, as these are more likely to cover items already on your list.
Check department stores for brands
If a specific brand doesn't have the discount you want, check department stores (eg, La Redoute, Sainsbury's Tu) as they often have sales that include popular brands.
Martin's Money Mantras
Use them
If you answer 'NO' to any of the following questions, don't buy.
Are you
Will I use it?
Is it worth it?
Are you
Do I need it?
Can I afford it?
Free protection for all shopping!
And although Section 75 doesn't apply to debit cards, there is something else to fall back on if you've paid using a debit card, or used a credit card for a purchase under £100. Known as Chargeback, this is part of banks' and card companies' internal rules and not a legal requirement. Read full details of Section 75 or Chargeback, plus how to claim, in our guides.
What the * means above
If a link has an * by it, that means it is an affiliated link and therefore it helps MoneySavingExpert stay free to use, as it is tracked to us. If you go through it, it can sometimes result in a payment or benefit to the site. It's worth noting this means the third party used may be named on any credit agreements.
You shouldn’t notice any difference and the link will never negatively impact the product. Plus the editorial line (the things we write) is NEVER impacted by these links.
